Overview

We've all heard it at some point our lives... 

 

"You need to put your own oxygen mask on first before you can help those around you"

Well, maybe less so in the past 2 years but I'm sure we've been longing for that day again!

But... we're not here to talk about flights today, rather something a little more pressing... our wellbeing as leaders!

 

As leaders know, the rules of leadership are not so different from the emergency rules on an aircraft! 

"To lead, you’ll first need to master yourself first, to lead with integrity that is."

As the past 2 years have proven, the pandemic has significantly increased demand for mental health services.

Bereavement, isolation, loss of income and fear are triggering mental health conditions or exacerbating existing ones. Many people may be facing increased levels of alcohol and drug use, insomnia, and anxiety. Meanwhile, COVID-19 itself can lead to neurological and mental complications, such as delirium, agitation, and stroke.​

The last 2 years has changed the infrastructure of how we work and live our lives. This has left very little mental space to invest in ourselves.

That is why at The Growth Series we have designed an event to help leaders and individuals take a few minutes, breathe, reflect and reset for 2022. A 2 episode series to help set you up for success in the new year.

9.05-9.25      The pillars of success and attraction of success in your day job

9.25-10.00    Growth mindset

Your attitude defines who you are as a person, learn what it means to have a growth mind and how it helps you to achieve what you want from life. During this session we will gather in an interactive workshop to discuss findings and technics utilised by leaders.

10.00-10.30  Procrastination is not a character trait

Stop procrastinating. Understanding that procrastination is not a character trait, but rather a habit and it is 100% possible for you to unlearn it just as you have learnt the habit. Learn to utilize your time is the most effective manner.

10.30-11.00  Changing from a reactive approach to a proactive one

Become more proactive. Learning the traits of proactive people and how to implement this into your own life.
